A property site with a page per listing, a directory with a page per city, a benchmark with a page per industry: the structure is written once and the data fills it. Done with real per page data it captures long tail searches no hand written site could cover.
Done without real data it is thin content at scale, and Google's scaled content policy treats it as spam. The test is whether each page says at least three things a reader could not get from any other page on the site. Our own industry pages are built this way, gated in code so a page without its data cannot be generated.
