( Flutterwave )The only one of the three that publishes every fee on a public page.
Best for. A store selling to Ghana and abroad that wants one gateway for cards and MoMo, with published pricing to plan against.
Watch. The international card rate is the highest of the three, so a diaspora heavy store should model it.
MoMo payouts: 1.5% per transfer to Mobile Money; GHS 10 per bank transfer
( Paystack )Publishes its Mobile Money fee in its support centre. The pricing page could not be read by an automated check on the date recorded.
Best for. A developer led build. Paystack's API and documentation are the most widely used in the region, and most Ghanaian ecommerce platforms support it out of the box.
Watch. Read the card fees on the pricing page yourself; we will not quote what we could not read.
MoMo payouts: No minimum threshold for payouts to a Mobile Money wallet
( Hubtel )The largest local player, with fees that are not published on a public page.
Best for. A business that also wants Hubtel's point of sale, USSD and merchant tools, where the gateway is part of a wider Hubtel setup.
Watch. Ask for the fee schedule in writing before committing. A cap on Mobile Money fees, if it applies, changes the maths for high value orders.
MoMo payouts: Not published publicly
Our pick, and why. For a new Ghanaian store we usually integrate Paystack first, because its developer tooling is the most mature and its Mobile Money rate is the lowest we could verify, with Flutterwave where international cards are a large share of sales. We say that as the people who build the integration, and the choice is yours after reading the fee schedules yourself. The integration is included in our Online store tier, and the mechanics are in how to accept MoMo on your website.
